In November, Bus4Life was invited to spend one week in Romania and happily accepted the offer. A local team joined the Bus4Life staff and together they visited four villages and one bigger town. Children were happy to see the bus and get free literature to read at home. They played games, sang songs, and watched cartoons inside the bus. A drama was performed by the team members. One child said, “I have never seen a big bus like this one! I will take many pictures of it. I have never seen anything like it before!”
The team also distributed some shoes, clothes and blankets in the poorer areas. In two locations, a workshop was organised for teenagers about substance abuse. A total of about 230 children and adults came inside the bus to visit during its time in Romania.
