In October, Bus4Life was in Moldova, visiting several different villages. In one village, about one hundred children visited the bus during its three days in the village. The local church has only 35 members, but the pastor already knew all of the children. It was clear that the church was very involved in the village and everyone was excited to host Bus4Life.

The same happened in another village where 96 children attended the children’s program. There are very few believers in this village. The team was able to encourage a young woman who realised that she can share God’s love by simply loving and interacting with the children in her village.
In on town, the team found out that their food had been prepared by an old lady on crutches who lived next door to where they were staying. She had prepared two meals for 15 people each day while they were in town. “When we realised what a faithful servant of God she was, we cried. It was hard for her to stand, yet she showed love to us each day. Her servant heart inspired the whole group.”

Still in Moldova, a young girl came to bus wanting to buy herself a Bible. She asked how much it cost (15 leu) and then asked the team to wait while she ran home to get the money. When the girl returned, team member Ion showed her all of the children’s Bibles available. She looked at each of them and made her decision: “I want to buy a big Bible so I can read it with my entire family.” A purchase was made, the children’s Bibles remained in the shelf, and the little girl went home with an actual Bible. “It’s often the children that bring entire families to God,” Ion said.
